Brendan grew up in Durban and started riding horses at the age 9 at NewMarket stables. After many years of riding and slowly promoting from ponies to horses, he was lucky enough to breed himself a very talented horse names Crystallise. And so the partnership and road to success began! Brendan and Crystallise moved to Johannesburg to make their mark on the Professional Horseriding scene. Brendan turned pro 8 years ago and has moved up through the ranks from work rider, to stable jockey, Stable Manager and Professional Showjumper. Horses are Brendan's passion and has chosen to dedicate his life to always being around horses. His own personal mantra "Horses are not a sport, it's a lifestyle!"
Brendan views himself to have been lucky to have been involved in developing many talented horses and stud farms, and the top echelon of these are Alchemy Stud and Branic Stud who are reknowned for producing young horses and developing them up the grades.
As Stable Manager at Blair Atholl, he has set his sights on taking the experience of stabling horses to a new level, developing young talent and reaching new heights as as a teaching Pro. At Blair Atholl, he has fantastic individual horses, namely Crystallise, Lobo and Pikur Cabachon who all jump in the Open A Grade classes and really exciting young horses like Cayenne and Syndikus.

Packages:
On a monthly basis, R3000 per month which includes two private lessons and a series of group lessons. Ourides are also included in this.
